At West Coast Taekwondo, we teach the traditional martial arts of Taekwondo, a Korean Martial art that has grown in popularity over the years. Taekwondo, which is literally translated as “Foot-Hand-Art”, is an open hand (no weapons) fighting style that emphasizes powerful kicks and fast-hand techniques. Students of Taekwondo learn not only how to punch and kick, but to overcome obstacles and become better people.
